2. Personal information we collect
We collect only the information needed to provide our services:
- Contact form: full name, phone, email, type of damage, optional description.
- Phone call: contact details, intervention address, description of damage.
- On-site: photos of damage, humidity reports, contents inventory, insurance coverage details (with your explicit consent).
- Browsing data: none. The site does not place third-party tracking cookies.
3. Purposes
Your information is used only to:
- respond to your emergency or estimate request;
- contact you back about your file;
- manage your insurance claim, if applicable;
- send progress reports, invoices and warranties;
- meet our legal and accounting obligations.
Your data is never used for marketing, advertising or automated profiling.
4. Consent
By submitting a form or contacting us, you consent freely, knowingly and specifically to the collection and processing of your information for the purposes described above. You may withdraw your consent at any time by writing to rprp@phenix-restauration.ca.
5. Disclosure to third parties
We share your information only with strictly necessary third parties:
- Your insurance company, to handle the claim (with your prior authorization).
- Specialized subcontractors (air-quality lab, carrier), bound by confidentiality agreements.
- Government authorities, only when required by law.
No data is sold, rented or traded.
6. Transfer outside Quebec
Your information is hosted and processed in Canada. No transfer is made outside Quebec without prior assessment as required by section 17 of the Act.
7. Retention period
- Inactive requests: 24 months after last contact, then secure destruction.
- Intervention files: 7 years after file closure (legal accounting and warranty obligation).
- Insurance documents: as required by your insurer, typically 10 years.
8. Your rights
Law 25 grants you the following rights, exercisable at any time through the Privacy Officer:
- Right of access to your personal information;
- Right of rectification in case of error;
- Right to data portability in a structured technological format (since September 22, 2024);
- Right to cessation of dissemination / de-indexing in certain cases;
- Right to withdraw consent;
- Right to file a complaint with the Commission d'accès à l'information du Québec: cai.gouv.qc.ca.
Maximum response time: 30 days.
9. Security measures
- TLS 1.3 encryption of communications;
- access restricted to authorized personnel on a need-to-know basis;
- logging of access to sensitive data;
- annual privacy training;
- incident response plan.
10. Privacy incidents
In case of an incident likely to cause serious harm, we will promptly notify the Commission d'accès à l'information and the individuals concerned, in accordance with sections 3.5 to 3.7 of the Act.
11. Cookies
The site uses no third-party tracking cookies (Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, etc.) and no advertising cookies. Only strictly necessary technical cookies may be deposited.
